Local Laws
Queensland local governments have adopted a diverse range of local laws to assist them to govern their respective areas.
The Local Government Act 2009 (LGA) empowers local governments to make local laws suitable to their needs and resources to achieve the purpose and principles of local government.
The Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers maintain a database of local laws enacted by councils across Queensland.
To access this database please click here and follow the prompts to the database of local laws for the Mornington Shire Council.
