Calendar:
The Department of Housing are organising maintenance and safety inspections on properties on Mornington Island from the 20 – 24 July 2026.
Inspections will take between 15-45mins with the intention to:
- perform legislated mandatory safety checks (e.g. smoke alarms and electrical safety switches)
- record the condition of the properties to inform future upgrade programs
- to raise maintenance work orders where needed in order to ensure that the dwellings can be considered safe and functional
