The Queensland Government's Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry applies to the building work associated with this project. It is a requirement of this project that any person who undertakes the work be compliant with the Code.

Procurement Process Conditions

The Procurement Process Conditions are the terms and conditions that are included as part of a Request for Tender (RFT), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Expressions of Interest (EOI), which set out the procedural rules that will govern a procurements process, including the requirements for a compliant response, the evaluation criteria and process for evaluating, selecting and/or rejecting tenders, quotations or EOIs received.

Standard Terms and Conditions

The Standard Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of goods and/or services by Mornington Shire Council. Council may incorporate these Standard Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services into a contract with a Supplier. However, the Standard Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services will not apply to any engagement for which Council has provided a written contract incorporating alternative terms and conditions to the Supplier.

In compliance with section 237 of the Local Government Regulation 2012, Council is obliged to publish details of all contracts valued at $200,000 or more. These details must be published monthly on Councils website and on notice boards located at the Shire Office in Gununa.
