Last week, Mornington Shire Councillors flew to Cairns, to attend the (LGAQ) Indigenous Leaders Forum (#ILF2017).
Housing programs, greater community health and job creation were the main issues that resonated across the state’s indigenous communities.
Mayor Bradley Wilson was amongst the 15 leaders who attended the forum, which was held over two days.
Cr. Wilson said the forum was a great platform to highlight successes and to raise issues.
