Yesterday evening, Mornington Shire Deputy Mayor Sarah Isaacs made a special announcement at the Local Government Association of Queensland Indigenous Leaders Forum.
The Deputy Mayor will be running in the next election for the seat of Traegar.
Robbie Katter is the current MP.
